Written and directed by Michael Almereyda, the new film "Experimenter" covers the story of famous psychologist Stanley Milgram. To celebrate the upcoming release, a new confrontational poster has been released.
Milgram is best known for his obedience experiments in the '60s and '70s, where subjects were surprisingly complicit in shocking unwilling patients after being ordered to do so. "Experimenter" will depict the remarkable trials while also exploring the psychologist's own mind. The film stars Peter Sarsgaard as Milgram, along with Winona Ryder, Kellan Lutz, John Leguizamo and Taryn Manning. It premiered at Sundance earlier this year to positive reviews.
